Want a quick rundown of how the game works before you dive in?
📜 HOW TO PLAY
🎯 Goal: Be the first to reach the FINISH tile. Once everyone else has finished, whoever's left standing loses.
🎲 On your turn you can:
Roll Die — move forward along the board.
Buy Item (-6 coins) — buy a random item (excluding hand-out-a-drink items) once you've saved enough coins.
Use Item from your backpack — one-time tricks like extra dice, curses, or hand out a drink.
What tiles do:
🟦 Neutral — take a few sips, move on.
🟧 Challenge — a mini-game (solo, 1v1, Free-for-all, 2v2, or 1v3) for a shot at bonus steps or coins.
🟩 Item — grab a random item.
🟪 Trivia — answer right for an 8-faced die, answer wrong and take 4 steps back.
🟥 Unlucky — always triggers, no exceptions — brace yourself.
🏆 Rewards: Winning something earns a "reward die" — save it as coins for the shop, or roll it right away for bonus steps. Only for 1v1 challenges is the wager the guaranteed amount of steps you will advance, no die.
🎯 Tile activation limit: You can only activate up to 3 tiles per turn (your roll, plus any chained landings from reward steps). Once you hit the cap, further tiles are skipped — except 🟥 Unlucky tiles, which always trigger no matter what, even past the cap.
⚔️ 1v1 wagers: The challenger (the player who landed on the tile) picks the wager amount, from 1 to 8 steps. Whoever wins, earns that many steps as a reward; whoever loses, goes back that many steps.
🛤️ Part 2 path lock-in: Once you're close enough to a Part 2 fork (Long vs Short path) that your next roll could actually reach it, you'll be asked to commit to a path before you roll. Choose carefully — you're locked in ahead of time.
🍻 Drink severities: 🍺 Beer, 🥂 Light Shot, 🍷 Medium Shot, and 🥃 Strong Shot roughly track alcohol strength (Beer = any %, Light = 0–15%, Medium = 15–35%, Strong = ≥35%). Keep in mind that items and challenges hand out specific types of drinks.
🛤️ Forks in the road: At some points you'll choose a path — a longer route with less unlucky tiles, or a shorter, riskier one.
Note: 🟦 Neutral tile sip counts increase as more players finish the game, and again once you reach Part 2 (the Long/Short path section) of the board.
Tip: you can reopen this anytime from the "📜 How to Play" button on the setup screen.
